Smoked Salmon Porridge
Smoked salmon | 200g |
---|---|
Young ginger | 10g |
Rice | 1 cup |
Soup stock | 8 cups |
Spring onions, finely chopped | 2 sprigs |
Salt | As needed |
Pepper | As needed |
Sesame oil | As needed |
Method
Smoked Salmon Porridge
- STEPDrizzle sesame oil on the smoked salmon. Arrange the salmon pieces on a plate, and top it with spring onions.
- STEPWash and slice ginger into thin strips. Set aside.
- STEPWash and soak rice for 30 minutes.
- STEPTransfer the rice into a pot, pour in the soup stock and bring to boil.
- STEPLower the heat and simmer gently till cooked. Season with salt, pepper, and ginger.
- STEPPlace the smoked salmon on the side. Serve.
Add in shallots and poached eggs for extra flavour!
