Ground beef

Egg, beaten

Dry bread crumbs

Evaporated milk

Worcestershire sauce

Method

Step 01

Preheat grill on high heat.
Step 02
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, evaporated milk, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, and garlic with your hands.
Step 03
Form the mixture into 8 hamburger patties.
Step 04
Lightly oil the grill grate.
Step 05
Grill the patties until well done.

Use aluminum foils to keep the food moist and cook evenly. It also makes cleaning up easier.

Ingredients Serves 6
Spicy Beef Pasta
Spaghetti
250g
Minced beef

Garlic
3-4 cloves
Fenugreek, pounded
1 tbsp
Coriander seeds, pounded
½ tbsp
Blended chilli
1 ½ tbsp
Onion, chopped

Fresh parsley, chopped
¼ cup
Cabbage, chopped

Olive oil

Eggs, boiled

Spicy Beef Pasta

Step 01

Boil pasta and cook as per instructions on the package. Once cooked, place it in a colander and save some boiling water.
Step 02
Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until golden brown. Set aside.
Step 03
Using the same pan, fry onion and minced beef followed by pounded fenugreek and coriander seeds. Stir in the blended chilli and let it cook until the chilli and oil separates.
Step 04
Add in the cooked pasta and cabbage. Season with salt and mix it well. Top it off with chopped parsley.
Step 05
Serve the dish with sautéed garlic and boiled eggs.

You may use your other vegetables such as celery and carrots.

Steak
Ribeye steaks
2 x 250g
Olive oil
2 tbsp
Salt
¼ tsp
Pepper
¼ tsp
Herb Butter
Softened butter
3 tbsp
Fresh thyme
3 tbsp
Fresh rosemary
3 tbsp
Method
Steak

Step 01

Preheat oven to 200°C, placing a large 10” cast iron skillet in the oven to heat it for 5 minutes.
Step 02
Season the steaks with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Step 03
Remove the cast skillet from the oven and place it on the burner on high heat.
Step 04
Add steaks to pan and sear for 45 seconds. Flip the steaks to sear the other sides for another 45 seconds
Step 05
Remove skillet from burner and oven cook it for 3 minutes.
Step 06
Flip the steaks and cook for 2 minutes (medium rare) or 3 minutes (medium well). Cover the skillet and let the steaks sit for 2 minutes with a foil covering it.
Step 07
Slice the refrigerated herb butter and top the steaks with it.
Herb Butter
Step 01
In a small bowl, add softened butter, thyme and rosemary.
Step 02
Mix the ingredients together and place the butter mix on a sheet of plastic wrap.
Step 03
Roll the butter into a log and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

After searing the outside of the steak, move it to the cooler side of the grill to give the inside of the steak a moment to catch up.
